Sundays are family days at KMC GA
The “grown-ups” can join Resident Teacher, Kelsang Chenma for Prayers for World Peace class upstairs, while the kids join us in the youth room for their own meditation and teaching. Of course, parents are welcome to join the kids for if they so choose.
Class format:

A typical class will include – Singing “The Liberating Prayer”, making water offerings to Buddha, engaging in a short meditation, stories read from kid’s Dharma books, arts & crafts or coloring activities, outdoor games (weather permitting), healthy snack and clean up. All while trying to show children how to use basic Buddhist principles of patience and kindness to get along with each other.
