A Little About Us
Kadampa Meditation Center Georgia is a Buddhist meditation center dedicated to the attainment of world peace by offering everyone the opportunity to develop lasting mental peace through meditation and study programs. You are welcome to take as much or as little as you wish from what is offered.
Our classes offer scientific methods for improving our human nature and qualities through developing the capacity of our mind. The year-round program of meditation courses and retreats are available for people of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced practitioners.
Everyone is welcome – young, old, working, retired, singles, couples, and families. You do not have to be a Buddhist to take part in the program or to benefit from it
There are 1200 Kadampa Centers and branches in forty countries around the world where people can study and practice the teachings of Buddha.
These centers are open to everyone and offer a full program of introductory classes, study programs, and meditation retreats.
All Kadampa centers are non-profit organizations dedicated to benefiting their local community, and all their profits are donated to the International Temples Project.
Within the New Kadampa Tradition there is a range of kinds of centers open to the public:
