Beginner’s One-day Meditation Retreat…in the City!

Explore 3 sessions of meditation to deepen your experience of peace, the source of true happiness independent of external circumstances!

Retreat for a day from the noisy, hectic pace of everyday life. Relax and take time to reflect in the peaceful and uplifting atmosphere of our Meditation Center. Enjoy contemplative walks in-between sessions in our quiet and beautiful Inman Park neighborhood or refresh yourself with a brisk walk on the Beltline, just a block away.

In this retreat you will learn methods that will take your meditation practice to the next level. You will be inspired to establish a regular meditation routine and integrate mindfulness into your daily life while off the cushion. This day retreat is also an excellent preparation for our upcoming Beginner’s Mountain Meditation Retreat for a whole weekend of peace and happiness!

This retreat is co-taught by our Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Mondrub and senior Teacher, Terri Cooke.

11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Break for Lunch (not included in registration)
1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Session 2
3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Session 3
