Saturday Day Course
How can we create a deeply fulfilling and meaningful life? How can we find the peace and happiness we desire? How can we better help others, and contribute to making the world a better place?
Making time for the things that matter most can be hard to do in the busyness of daily life’s commitments and activities. But what would happen if we did? What would happen if we invested more in the most meaningful aspects of our lives? How could life be less ordinary, more fulfilling and even joyful?
In Buddhism, the epitome of the joyful and meaningful life is found within the way of life of the ‘Bodhisattva’ - a person progressing towards the enlightenment, in order to be of real benefit to everyone. In this course, Kadam Michelle will explain how to develop the mindset and daily actions of a Bodhisattva, so that our life begins to resemble the Bodhisattva’s way of life. We will learn how to practice the six main trainings of giving, moral discipline, patience, joyful effort, concentration and wisdom.

COVID-19 Safety Protocols
We care about your safety and well-being!
Here is a list of COVID-19 prevention measures currently in place at KMC Georgia:

  • The uses of masks is voluntary. Please read the latest CDC mask guidance.
  • We have a UV air purifier running at all times inside the main meditation room. All doors to the main meditation room will remain open during class to encourage air flow.
  • Chairs in the meditation rooms are placed to encourage social distancing. If you don't feel comfortable sitting in the main meditation room, you may sit in the smaller meditation room or in the reception/cafe area, where we have a TV monitor link and audio. If you are in the café area, you may still watch the class through the open glass doors.
  • We offer hand sanitizer to all our guests and volunteers, and sanitize all high touch areas before every class.
