When life is stressful, it helps to have a quiet place for contemplation and relaxation. This class is an opportunity to understand the beauty and power of setting up a Buddhist shrine in your home that will help you to focus your energy for spiritual practice.
We will explore the meaning behind the symbols and sacred objects, as well as essential aspects of setting up a shrine, making offerings and reciting prayers for meditation. These crucial elements of regular practice help us to experience the joy and purpose of meditation.
No experience necessary. Everyone is welcome.

About the Teacher
Gen Kelsang Norden is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center Georgia. Gen Norden has been an ordained Buddhist nun since 1994 and has been teaching Buddhism and meditation in the US and the UK for over 25 years. We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to enjoy the precious dharma of Modern Buddhism with such an experienced practitioner.
