December, At Home Guided Meditation Package
Register before December 4 and the six guided meditations package will be available for you to use at home until Dec 31
Though 2020 is winding down ~ most of us are feeling pretty wound up. We are in the middle of unprecedented change. Even our normal gatherings and ways of connecting to others this time of year is causing anxiety, uncertainty, and feelings of loneliness. Though challenging outer conditions may be unavoidable, we can definitely learn to use this ‘season of change’ in a special and meaningful way.
During this weekend retreat Gen Norden the resident teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center Georgia and Sharon Lovich the resident teacher of Je Tsongkhapa Kadampa Buddhist Center in Asheville will explain and guide a series of meditations that will give us the tools to truly seize the day and take full advantage of this unusual time. Using the imaginative and beautiful meditation practice known as taking and giving, we will learn to direct the change to begin to create our best self and world.
This retreat will take place online and will provide a unique opportunity to benefit from these sessions in 3 different ways:
- Attend the ‘live’ online sessions Friday Night December 4 - Sunday Afternoon Dec 6, with access to the session replays throughout the month to deepen your practice of taking and giving.
- Can’t make the weekend, or all the sessions? Structure your own personal retreat anytime during the month using the replay of the guided sessions.
- Life too hectic for a weekend retreat? Break up the individual retreat sessions into meditations for a daily practice to gain experience of or deepen your practice of taking and giving throughout the month.
If you participate livestream the weekend of December 4-6, we will follow this retreat schedule:
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 5
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 6
