Seize The Day

Meditation Workshop
with Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Norden

Saturday, January 28 | 10:30a.m.–3p.m.

The very first meditation in the Buddhist spiritual path is the meditation known as Precious Human Life. This meditation is essentially the starter engine of our spiritual life, in which we focus on the incredible potential within our mind, and the good conditions within our life that will enable us to actualize our potential. Combined with the second meditation on Death and Impermanence we will find ourselves empowered with joy and a sense of purpose so that we truly seize the day.

During this three session day retreat Gen Norden will take us into the heart of these practices. At the end of the last session there will be an opportunity for Q&A. Everyone is welcome.

Session times:

10:30–11:30a.m.
12:30–1:30p.m.
2–3p.m.

Here is a list of COVID-19 prevention measures currently in place at KMC Georgia:

  • We have a UV air purifier running at all times inside the main meditation room. All doors to the main meditation room will remain open during class to encourage air flow.
